clockBusiest Times/Time Change

Traditionally at the Warkworth Maple Syrup Festival the busiest times on both days have been from 10:30 am until 2:00 pm. You might want to consider an earlier arrival time.

Don't forget that the time changes for Daylight Savings Time on the Sunday of our festival. You will need to get up an hour earlier to take it all of the festivities!

What to Wear:

The beginning of March can be warm and sunny one moment and snowy the next. Dress in layers so you can enjoy the day whatever it brings. Being down in a valley and dominated by tall maples, The Sugar Bush is quite protected from the winds but at this time of year, it's no place for runners or dress shoes. Remember to dress for a country adventure.

Getting Around At The Festival:

Once you are in town, you can walk to all of the events. However, the best and most convenient way to take in the whole festival is to park in the Village of Warkworth and hop on a free shuttle bus, compliments of C. Smith Bus Lines. Buses run continually both days, between 9 am and 4 pm, stopping at each of the village events and going to and from the Sugar Bush. Many people report the 5 mile ride to the sugar bush in a school bus filled with all ages is one of the highlights of their day. There is also limited parking at the bush if that is your main destination.

Free Parking:

Available at the Community Arena and various downtown locations, our free parking areas are designed to give you easy access to events by foot or by shuttle bus.
